Molybdenum Mesh Description
SSC makes molybdenum mesh that can be used as a screen or gauze. Our standard metal mesh sizes range from 0.75 mm to 1 mm to 2 mm diameter with strict tolerances and alpha values for uses such as gas detection and thermometry tolerances. Please contact us for custom wire materials and sizes.
The molybdenum mesh has smooth edges, no broken wires, and no gaps. Molybdenum has a melting point of 2640°C and a high temperature resistance. Therefore, molybdenum mesh is used in production connectors, structural parts that work in high-temperature environments, heating elements, and integrated circuits. It is used a lot in aerospace and military applications.
