Molybdenum Hafnium Carbon Alloy Description
Molybdenum hafnium carbide (or carbon) alloy is a type of metal that has molybdenum and hafnium carbide in it. It has 0.8-1.4% hafnium and 0.05-0.15% carbon. MHC is a strong metal that conducts heat well and doesn't move easily. It doesn't expand when heated and has a high melting point. These properties make it a good choice for metal forming, brass and copper alloy extrusion, and other high-temperature mechanical applications. Available forms include rod, bar, sheet, plate, billet, disc, and other shapes by request. Materials can be made in standard and customized sizes. Please ask for a price quote using the form above.
