Tungstic Acid Description
Tungstic acid refers to hydrated forms of tungsten trioxide.
Tungstic acid is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity, high purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.
When heated to 100-110℃, the tungstic acid will slowly be dehydrated to 2WO3.H2O. At high temperature, nWO3.H2O changed to tungsten trioxide. Tungstic acid is soluble in hydrofluoric acid, slowly soluble in a caustic solution, insoluble in water and other acids.
Tungstic Acid Applications and Related Industries
● Tungstic acid is used as a mordant and a dye in textiles.
