Ammonium Metatungstate Hydrate Description

Ammonium metatungstate hydrate, also known as AMT, is a tungsten chemical in the form of highly soluble hydrated crystals. AMT is produced as a -10 mesh powder to meet stringent demands in the catalyst, medical, semiconductor, and other high-technology industries. AMT is also used in materials research and in analytical chemistry. At room temperature, aqueous solutions can be saturated up to 70% by weight of contained WO3. SSC provides different purity and customized packed ammonium metatungstate hydrate powder.

Ammonium metatungstate hydrate is one of numerous organo-metallic compounds (also known as metalorganic, organo-inorganic and metallo-organic compounds) sold by SSC for uses requiring non-aqueous solubility such as recent solar energy and water treatment applications. Similar results can sometimes also be achieved with nanoparticles and by thin film deposition. SSC additionally supplies many materials as solutions. Ammonium metatungstate hydrate is generally immediately available in most volumes. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered. Additional technical, research and safety information is available.
