Tungsten Carbide Mortar and Pestle Description
Tungsten carbide mortar and pestle are made for grinding hard samples such as rock and ore. Durable tungsten carbide is harder and denser than other grinding materials. We strongly recommend that clients choose tungsten carbide mortar and pestle when the sample preparation processing is free of heavy metal.
Tungsten carbide is the grinding head of choice for many laboratories where elemental contamination is limited to just two principal contaminants that are tungsten and cobalt.
Tungsten carbide generally has a series of excellent properties, such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. Its high hardness and wear resistance is basically unchanged even at 500℃, and its high hardness remains at 1000℃. The chemical property of tungsten carbide is also very stable.
