Tungsten Carbide Grinding Jar and Balls Description

Tungsten carbide grinding jar, also known as cemented carbide grinding jar, consists of tungsten carbide and cobalt, which is famous for its super hardness. With great abrasion resistance, tungsten carbide grinding jar and balls combo is well made for grinding under laboratory environment without contaminating samples.

Tungsten carbide is an alloy material made of hard compounds of refractory metals and bonding metals through powder metallurgy.

Tungsten carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, which remains basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500℃. It still has high hardness at 1000℃.

Each grinding jar and balls combo includes 4 grinding jars with lids, rubber sealing gaskets, and grinding balls. Planetary ball mill is also available at SSC. For grinding in vacuum or inert gas environment, stainless steel vacuum jacket will be required for all kinds of grinding jars except for vacuum jars made from stainless steel.

Highly polished tungsten carbide jar and balls are highly wear-resistant and resistant to acid and alkali. They have high hardness so that can meet the vast majority of metal powder crushing and refining. They are extensively applied to in the fields of metallurgy, ceramics, electronics, light industry, paint, medicine, geology, chemical engineering and so on.

We also provide WC-TiC-Co with corresponding ISO grades P10, P20, P30; and WC-TiC-TaC-Co carbide with corresponding ISO grades P25, P40, M10, M20, M30.
