Product Description

Tungsten Heavy Alloy (WHA) Radiation Shielding Parts are specialized components made from high-density tungsten alloys (W-Ni-Cu & W-Ni-Fe) designed for radiation protection in medical, nuclear, and aerospace industries. These parts are used to shield gamma rays & X-rays, offering superior attenuation properties compared to lead while maintaining high strength and durability.

W-Ni-Cu is non-magnetic and ideal for MRI shielding & medical radiation protection, whereas W-Ni-Fe is stronger and more rigid, making it suitable for military, aerospace, and industrial shielding applications.

Features & Properties

High Radiation Absorption – 60% denser than lead, superior shielding
Non-Toxic & Lead-Free – Environmentally safer than traditional lead shielding
High Density & Strength – Density up to 18.5 g/cm³, compact & effective
Non-Magnetic (W-Ni-Cu) – Ideal for MRI & sensitive electronics applications
Corrosion & Oxidation Resistant – Long lifespan in harsh environments
Customizable Shapes & Sizes – Precision machined for various applications
