Chromium Carbonate Description
Chromium carbonate is a water insoluble chromium source that can easily be converted to other chromium compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination). Carbonate compounds also give off carbon dioxide when treated with dilute acids.
Chromium carbonate can be used to make chromium salts, or to prepare chromium compounds for electroplating.
