Chromium Acetate Description
Chromium acetate is a grayish green to bluish green powder with a chemical formula of Cr(CH3COO)3. It is a moderately water soluble crystalline Chromium source that decomposes to Chromium oxide on heating.
Chromium acetate is used as a dye, tanning agent, mordant, and catalyst. It is easily oxidizable and sensitive to moisture. However, under the protection of carbon dioxide gas, it can be stored at room temperature for several months.
