Titanium Clad Copper Description
Titanium clad copper is manufactured by bonding metallurgical C.P. titanium to an OFHC (oxygen-free high conductivity) copper core. They have excellent conductivity, high ductility, and weldability. Products include titanium clad copper bar, titanium clad copper tube, titanium clad copper plate, titanium clad copper wire, etc. The common production methods of titanium clad copper mainly include the following: hot extrusion method, hot extrusion and stretching method, explosion method, and explosion and rolling method.
SSC's Ti clad copper has excellent conductivity and is fully ductile for shaping and forming. Ti clad copper also has great weldability for connecting, capping and joining. Our custom processing methods allow for a wider variety of Ti to copper ratios. Specifications for typical configurations are illustrated in the table below.
SSC's Ti clad copper can be cut to length and packaged to customer requirements. We also offers complete metallurgical services for testing and quality control. Al Clad Cu, Zr Clad Cu, and SS Clad Cu are also available on request.
