Tantalum Niobium Alloy Rod and Bar Description
Ta-Nb series alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to acid-base solutions, chlorine gas and chloride. The Nb content in the alloy can be determined by the mass fraction of the acid.
Among Ta-Nb series alloys, Ta-40Nb is a newly developed alloy with low price and mainly used in chemical industry.
SSC provides tantalum rod, bar and cylinder in length of up to 2m and in diameter of up to 120 mm. We also provide tantalum tungsten alloy and tantalum niobium alloy materials per request.
All tantalum rod products above comply with ASTM B365. We can also provide products according to special request of the customer.
Tantalum and tantalum alloy rod and bar can be used for supporting accessories and heaters of high-temperature vacuum furnace, which is more stable and easier to process than tungsten and molybdenum.
Tantalum and tantalum alloy bar can be used in aerospace industry to make high strength and heat resistant materials for supersonic aircraft, rockets and missiles as well as control and adjustment parts.
