Rhenium Wire Description
SSC offers a wide range of wire products for use in major electronics products, thermocouples, high-temperature furnace parts, and welding. Our rhenium wire is very pure and has good strength and flexibility. Rhenium wire comes in many different sizes (starting from 0.025mm/0.001") to fit your needs.
SSC also produce rhenium alloy wires. Molybdenum-47.5%-rhenium wire is used in welding, electronics, and wire mesh grids for the space industry. As another example, tungsten-rhenium wire is used in thermocouples and electronics products. Tungsten wire is used in thermocouples, electronic devices, and lighting due to its very high tensile strength even at a very small diameter.
SSC is also able to produce flat wire products with minimum thickness of 0.1mm (0.004") and tolerance of 0.01mm (0.0004"). We can also do ultrasonic and etching cleaning.
