Cobalt(II) Carbonate Hydrate Description
Cobalt(II) carbonate hydrate is a water insoluble cobalt source that can easily be converted to other cobalt compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination). Carbonate compounds also give off carbon dioxide when treated with dilute acids.
Cobalt(II) carbonate hydrate powder is widely used to produce cobalt oxide, cobalt salt, chemical agent and also to be used as coloring pigment for glasses and ceramics.
