C-129Y Niobium Alloy Description

C-129Y alloy (niobium-tungsten-hafnium-yttrium) is a niobium based alloy which has high temperature resistance and high strength. It is a complex refractory alloy consisting primarily of niobium, with additions of 10wt% tungsten, 10wt% hafnium, 0.1wt% yttrium, and trace amounts of other elements. This type of alloy is suitable for the manufacture of riveting and fastening components such as screws, bolts, nuts, etc.
