Sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine (PDS desulfurizer) is a kind of high efficiency catalyst used to remove mercaptan in the refining of propylene and light oil products, such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil or cut oil. It can be used to remove sulfur from LPG or sulfur-containing waste water. Reducing mercaptan can lessen the malodor of gasoline, decrease corrosivity, and reduce the lead response of gasoline in order to strengthen its stability during storage. It has high mercaptan activity, long service life and high solubility, and is soluble in diluted alkaline solution at normal temperature.
